Vigango's Stoop

Designed to be read from the outside to the center, the five columns are inspired by the Mijienda Vigango of Kenya and celebrate the vast cultural bounty of the African diaspora. Tile fabrication assisted by parishioners of St Nicholas Catholic Church, the oldest Black Catholic church in the Houston-Galveston Diocese, of which mine is one of its early family memberships.
